“From Japan to the World” A 2026 New Year Interview with Our CEO and CFO

To start, we would like to wish you a very Happy New Year, and to thank you sincerely for your continued support of G-angle!

This year marks the Year of the Horse, and fittingly, G-angle is also celebrating its 24th anniversary, having been founded in a Horse year. To commemorate this meaningful milestone, we sat down with our CEO and CFO for a special New Year interview. Both appeared in traditional hakama attire, adding a ceremonial touch to the conversation as they reflected on the past year and looked ahead to what’s next.

🐴 Looking Back: What Was 2025 Like?

Takahashi

In a word, 2025 was the year we found the spark that will drive our next phase of major growth.

Terada

I agree. It was a year when we could truly feel the start of a new wave of growth. More than anything, it felt like our foundation became extremely solid and dependable.

Takahashi

One of the most significant changes was the clear shift in mindset among our senior leadership.

Terada

That shift really came into focus about three years after we began restructuring the organization and expanding our business initiatives. By revisiting our internal structure and making it easier for each division to operate independently, every team has grown steadily. It finally feels like everything is coming together.

Takahashi

Strengthening our collaboration with our Cebu office was another major factor.

Terada

Exactly. The direction and ideas the CEO has been emphasizing over the past several years have gradually taken shape. In 2025, they began connecting across the company in a very positive way.

Note: In addition to our offices in Japan (Tokyo, Sapporo, and Fukuoka), G-angle also operates a branch in Cebu, Philippines. By working closely with our talented creative teams there, we are able to secure large-scale production resources and respond quickly to a wide range of client needs.

🐴 Goals and Vision for 2026

Takahashi

Over the past 24 years, everything we have built has steadily taken root not only in Japan, but also on the global stage.

Takahashi

In 2026, we want to further expand G-angle’s wide-ranging creative capabilities worldwide and significantly increase our overseas projects. With that in mind, our goal for the year is simple, yet ambitious: “Go out, and win over the world.”

Takahashi

Until now, our overseas team members have led the charge and opened new paths for us. This year, however, we want to extend that global mindset across the entire company.

Terada

Exactly. It has also been two years since we entered into our partnership with Digital Hearts*, and I believe that collaboration will serve as one of the key catalysts for our global expansion.

Terada

At the same time, as we take on more international clients, we ourselves must continue to evolve. We cannot remain as we are. That means engaging seriously with overseas business practices, regulations, and legal frameworks.

Terada

As our scope of work continues to grow, we will also welcome teammates with more diverse skill sets and backgrounds than ever before. As the organization expands, moments like “Who was that again?” or “Who should I ask about this?” are bound to happen. That is why I believe strengthening and rebuilding our internal foundations and systems should be a continuous, ongoing effort.

*Note: On February 1, 2024, G-angle entered into a capital and business partnership with Digital Hearts Holdings Co., Ltd. This partnership aims to expand our service offerings and strengthen our sales capabilities for game developers and entertainment companies in both domestic and international markets.

🐴 What Mindset Do You Hope Employees Will Carry This Year?

Takahashi

Rather than simply creating things, I want our employees to approach their work with a broader perspective and with the awareness that what they create will be seen by people around the world.

Terada

For those who are not directly involved in overseas projects, it is natural to feel uneasy or worry about being left behind.

Terada

That said, at the core of everything we do is the high-quality, Made in Japan creative craftsmanship we have cultivated over many years. It is precisely because Japanese culture and technical expertise are so highly regarded that overseas clients reach out to us and ask us to create for them.

Terada

First and foremost, it is about continuing to make great work, just as we always have. By valuing that foundation and gradually expanding our perspective to the global stage, things will naturally fall into place.

Terada

Over time, those efforts will accumulate into something meaningful. One day, I would love for our team to hear friends or family say, “Your work is known all over the world. That’s amazing.” I hope we can build toward that kind of future together.

Takahashi

Japanese subcultures such as anime and games are already world-class on a global scale.

Takahashi

From the perspective of overseas companies, if there is a reliable production partner in Japan that can turn ideas into reality, they would naturally want to work with them. Perhaps we have simply not been fully discovered yet, but the groundwork is already in place.

Takahashi

Whether a project is domestic or international does not really matter. I hope everyone enjoys creating with a broad perspective and the belief that the entertainment we make can reach audiences all over the world.

🐴 A Message to Our Future Teammates

Terada

While the stage we are aiming for has expanded to a global level, the kind of people we are looking for has not changed.

Terada

If I had to sum it up in one phrase, it would be this: honest, genuinely good people. That really says it all.

Terada

Whether you are a creator or not, everyone here shares one thing in common: a strong desire to accomplish something in this industry. As long as you have that passion, G-angle offers countless opportunities to take on new challenges.

Terada

We want to continue being a place that draws in people who are curious, motivated, and eager to try new things. If that sounds like you, we hope you will take a leap of faith and join us. We are excited about what we can build together.

Takahashi

I will keep it to just one line. Work should be fun, and done with a smile.

Takahashi

At its core, work is not meant to be something painful. It should be something you genuinely enjoy.

Here’s to a bright and positive start to 2026.

As we celebrate our 24th anniversary, we hope you’ll look forward to the next chapter of G-angle.
